For those children who don't have access to transportation or funds to participate in extra-curricular activities through school, we offer enrichment activities on-site at Merritt McGowan Manor apartments in McKinney.

The program, called C.L.I.M.B., is open to school-aged children and youth who live at or around Merritt. In a safe, nurturing environment, through fun, interactive activities, they will be able to strengthen academic skills, explore new interests, and develop a sense of community.

In Spring 2023, we will have several fun family events on Saturdays and some activities during Summer 2023. The after-school program will begin in Fall 2023, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 - 5:30 pm.

Check back with us to see when registrastion will begin. 

We are a group of volunteers from local churches and businesses with a heart for serving children and youth, especially those who may be under-resourced. 

Join us! Volunteer with us as an individual, a family, or groups from church, businesses, or other service organizations. There are opportunities to serve at a single outreach event or regularly (weekly or monthly) with the after-school program.

If you want to be involved but your schedule doesn't allow you to join us during the school days, don't have time to volunteer, please consider donating after-school snacks or arts/crafts and learning supplies.
