Our Initiatives

"Prayer is aligning ourselves with the purposes of God." E. Stanley Jones

Jesus teaches that "men ought to always pray and not faint."  3e is committed to fulfilling this charge through quarterly prayer gatherings, designed to reach local churches, our community and every domain of culture.  Spirit-filled prayer leaves the heart encouraged, refreshed, and renewed, while bringing  us together to seek the heart of God.

Upcoming Prayer Gatherings:

Tentative: Sunday, October 17, 5:00 pm (Location TBD)

Friday, December 2, 5:30 pm

McKinney Home for the Holidays on the McKinney downtown Square

Racial Reconciliation

"For Christ himself has brought peace to us.  He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us." Ephesians 2:14

As the board of directors met for strategic planning, we agreed we must speak to The Church regarding racial reconciliation and church unity.

In 2021, we joined with another organization to present an evening with Dr. Tony Evans focused on equiping and empowering churches to more effectively address the sin of racism and embrace God's multi-ethnic kingdom family.

3e will continue to work toward bringing more events and equipping opportunities to the Collin County area  focusing on church unity and racial reconciliation.

Adopt A School Mentors

"We believe even the slightest positive influence has the potential to change a child's life."   McCormick Foundation

The success of all our public schools is a key element within the ecosystem of a flourishing city. Adopt-a-Schools matches churches with Title 1 schools to equip, engage, and empower all stakeholders to cultivate thriving schools, where all children can reach their highest potential.

Currently, we have 9 schools in McKinney ISD that are adopted.  As we continue to serve the schools, our efforts will be focused on helping to recruit mentors for all of the schools.  So many children of all ages are in need of that personal involvement from a mentor willing to encourage them by investing in their lives.
